El pasado 22 de marzo, Villalar de los Comuneros se llen\u00f3 de energ\u00eda, ideas y compromiso con la naturaleza. A trav\u00e9s de una jornada especial de voluntariado enfocada a la reforestaci\u00f3n, protecci\u00f3n de polinizadores y el desarrollo de un taller de cajas nido, organizada por GREFA (Grupo de Rehabilitaci\u00f3n de la Fauna Aut\u00f3ctona y su H\u00e1bitat) con\u00a0el Ayuntamiento de Villalar\u00a0y AEICE Cl\u00faster de H\u00e1bitat Eficiente. La jornada se convirti\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n en un espacio colaborativo en el que participaron personas de todas las edades con un objetivo com\u00fan: definir una estrategia compartida para el futuro de la Campa.<\/p>\r\n

La actividad comenz\u00f3 con la presentaci\u00f3n del proyecto Villalar Checkpoint<\/strong>, donde las entidades impulsoras pudieron exponer los objetivos y acciones previstas para poner en valor este emblem\u00e1tico espacio natural y las distintas herramientas que se ir\u00e1n desarrollando como los SMART Village LIVING LABs del espacio virtual del proyecto: VILLAHUB.<\/p>\r\n

A continuaci\u00f3n, nos sumergimos en el fascinante mundo de los polinizadores<\/strong>, con una actividad muy participativa en la que los asistentes pudieron observar materiales divulgativos, infograf\u00edas, muestras al microscopio y participaron en juegos interactivos que ayudaron a comprender la importancia de abejas, mariposas y otros insectos en la biodiversidad del entorno.<\/p>\r\n

El taller de construcci\u00f3n de cajas nido<\/strong> fue otro de los grandes momentos del d\u00eda. Los voluntarios fabricaron refugios para aves como lechuzas o cern\u00edcalos, que contribuir\u00e1n a fortalecer la fauna local.<\/p>\r\n

Durante la tormenta de ideas <\/strong>posterior, surgieron propuestas inspiradoras sobre c\u00f3mo aprovechar y cuidar la Campa de Villalar: desde actividades educativas y\u00a0 hasta proyectos de conservaci\u00f3n y espacios de encuentro vecinal.<\/p>\r\n

La jornada culmin\u00f3 con una actividad de plantaci\u00f3n de flora aut\u00f3ctona<\/strong>, en la que juntos dimos un paso m\u00e1s hacia la recuperaci\u00f3n y sostenibilidad de este entorno de la Campa de Villalar. Y, como broche final a la jornada, los voluntarios disfrutaron de una paellada popular que permiti\u00f3 seguir compartiendo ideas, risas y compromiso por el territorio.<\/p>\r\n

On 22 March, Villalar de los Comuneros was filled with energy, ideas, and a commitment to nature. The day featured a special volunteer event focused on reforestation, pollinator protection, and a nesting box workshop, organised by GREFA (Grupo de Rehabilitaci\u00f3n de la Fauna Aut\u00f3ctona y su H\u00e1bitat) together with the Ayuntamiento de Villalar and AEICE Cl\u00faster de H\u00e1bitat Eficiente. It also became a collaborative space where people of all ages came together with a shared goal: shaping a collective strategy for the future of La Campa. The activity began with a presentation of the Villalar Checkpoint project, where the leading organisations explained the objectives and planned actions to enhance this emblematic natural space, as well as the various tools that will be developed, such as the SMART Village LIVING LABs within the project\u2019s virtual space, VILLAHUB. Next, participants delved into the fascinating world of pollinators through an engaging activity that included educational materials, infographics, microscope samples, and interactive games, helping everyone understand the importance of bees, butterflies, and other insects for local biodiversity. The nesting box construction workshop was another highlight of the day. Volunteers built shelters for birds such as owls and kestrels, contributing to the reinforcement of local wildlife. During the subsequent brainstorming session, inspiring ideas emerged on how to make the most of and care for La Campa de Villalar, ranging from educational activities to conservation projects and community gathering spaces. The day concluded with the planting of native flora, taking another step towards the recovery and sustainability of this area. As a final touch, volunteers enjoyed a communal paella, sharing ideas, laughter, and a strong commitment to the local environment.
